Yeah Jazmine!

yesterday mom took Jazmine to a wonderful furever home!
Mom said she has TWO new friends, an older dog and a puppy like her! She settled right in to the new place and was playing with the puppy so much that when Mom went to leave, Jazzy did not even notice!
Good girl Jaz!

WooHoo!

It is 90% that Jazmine will have a new home!

GRASP got an application for her on Friday. It was from a very excited woman who love Rhodesian Ridgebacks. She has 2 other dogs (one who is a puppy who loves to play). The woman met her Saturday at Petco and she loved her! If all goes well, hopefully Jazmine will be going to her furever home this week!

Go Jazmine, you win them over!

Good news and odd news

First, good news...
Yesterday mom found out that Jazmine is not afraid of thunderstorms.
Now I put this under the 'Good News' because I am *~*TERRIFIED*~* of them.

Odd news...
Today mom took Jazmine in to get spayed. They told her to call around 2:00 to see how she was doing. She after mom took me to the park, she called the vet and he said that they sedated her, started to clip her belly and noticed a small scar there. After some feeling around, they realized that she had already been spayed! Odd.

Mom keeps wondering about her past "owner" now. She wonders WHY someone would abandon such a nice dog, super friendly, SUPER sweet, crate trained, sit/down/shake/come trained AND now come to find out they had her spayed too!

I cannot wait for her to find a furever home! She need to have lots and lots of love and stability (and maybe even a bit more LOVE!)!

Woah!

I am sorry, everyone, that I have not written in awhile!

I have been having so much fun with Jazmine lately!

She went to the vet the other day to get spayed, but it had to be postponed until this week (the vet has some emergencies).

She is so good! We play really hard, but then we cuddle up and sleep! I think once she has a real family she would not mind being the only dog if her parents loved and played with her lots and lots!

She misses mom and dad a lot when they leave, but she has gotten much better about that now she realizes that the do in fact come back!

Mom says that she knows a lot of commands really really well, even better than I do!
She knows sit, shake, down and come down pat. On the leash she pulls a little bit at first, but is she has a choke collar on she just needs a couple light tugs and she relaxes.

I am so excited for her to find a family! She will be so happy to have a house of her own! And some family will be very lucky to get her!

Mom will post some more pictures again soon!

Very good girl!

Commands Mom has found out Jazmine knows:
Come
Sit
Down (for lay down)
Shake (VERY well, too, i might add)
and she knows her name and reacts to it.

Wow! very good!

More pictures of her...but Mom wanted me to remind you all that she has a *REAL* cheap digital camera and if you do not like the quality of the pictures, buy her a new one...

On with the show...

Jazmine...

She is so sweet!
She does not care one bit what I do to her. She just wanders around. Though I have been able to get her to play hard twice already.

Mom says she is a little shy at first, but she has seemed to warm up to her and Dad very quickly. She also seems to know her name and when Mom whistles for me to come she is figuring out what that means, too.

She does not mind the cats. She has seen Jeffrey, and has ignored him. She has found where Dukie is hiding, and does not care. She has founf the litterbox and kept on walking (that took me a long time to learn to stay away from!).

Here are some pictures mom took of her!

A new one is coming!

Mom told me the good news today!

I am getting a new foster sister tomorrow!

Her name is Jasmine. She is a 7 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback. She was dropped off at the shelter by her "owners".

I hope she likes me!
